Fifty-one-year-old Brian Tarrance of Georgia, United States, has been reported missing by his family during a vacation in the Turks and Caicos Islands this week.
Tarrence was last seen on Wednesday, June 25, at about 2am and 5am. This is according to Tarrence’s brother, Mike Tarrence, who shared additional information under the ‘Missing Person’ bulletin police posted on its Facebook page on Thursday.
Mike shared that his brother was travelling with his wife, and the last time he was seen, he had left their hotel on foot.
Police said Brian was staying at the Paradise Inn on Grace Bay in Providenciales. He is described as having brown eyes, medium build, and is Caucasian.
As shared by his brother online, Brian was inebriated at the time of his disappearance.
“Unfortunately, he was very drunk & come to find out he’s been a pretty bad alcoholic for a while now. My sister-in-law went to bed at 2am & awoke at 5am to him not there. I believe the police are awaiting possible video footage on the condos to see what time he left & which direction,” the brother shared in response to a comment regarding Brian’s mental health.
The Red Cross has reportedly been notified to aid in finding the missing American.
Police are calling on residents to keep an eye out for the missing man and report any information they may have about his whereabouts to 911, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 or the nearest police station. (DELANA ISLES)
